Itinerary
Departure From our Guest house, DAR MHAMID, we drive off-road into the Sahara desert by 4WD Land Cruiser, starting to discover a magical landscape, vast desert spaces, rocks, sands, camels, and donkeys, visiting a nomad family and seeing how they live. After about an hour's drive, we reach an oasis. Here we have our lunch in the shade of the palm trees *(this option is for those who chose morning departure). Then your desert trip continue to the dunes of Erg Chegaga through the different desert landscapes until we arrive to our desert camp located in the beautiful dunes, enjoy the sunset over the dunes of Sahara desert, Dinner and night in the camp in the heart of the dunes, in a tent or sleeping under the stars.
After enjoying the sunrise upon the immense dunes, breakfast will be served in our desert camp tented restaurant. Today, you will enjoy a full day of desert exploration. You will live a nomadic life by learning more about the lifestyle of this rare tribe. This unique experience showcases our ecotourism initiative, which aims to protect the desert's natural resources while preserving the nomadic tribe's traditional way of life. We will ride our camels deep into the Sahara Desert with its stunning landscapes and formations. Lunch will be enjoyed with a nomadic family under their tent shelter. Late afternoon, we will be back at the camp, where we will enjoy our evening. Overnight including half board at Dar M'hamid desert Camp, Erg Chegaga.
In the morning have breakfast, among the dunes in a beautiful view, away from the noise of the city, and we drive back to Mhamid through the desert landscape, then enjoy another time for the beautiful landscapes this time in the morning, we will stops for pictures if we meet the wild donkey or the desert gazelle, even we will stops in a place where we can collecting fossil stones, then we will continued our adventure back until we arrive Mhamid.
